Homecoming Hairstyles 2016
Homecoming is on the horizon. The air feels more crip, there’s a chill at night, football is on tv, and makeup and hair appointments for Homecoming 2016 are booking up fast.
There’s so many prom 2015 trends drifting over to homecoming 2016. A hot new trend is an illusion style dress. Cut outs and two pieces have been front runners for awhile, but the illusion styles are so stunning! My personal favorite is an illusion gown with a slit. Can you say, STUNNING?
When I was in high school homecoming was almost as big as our prom. We had the limos, the gowns, the dinners, professional photos, and the pampering. With so much invested to your homecoming experience you should never skip professional hair and makeup. This is the missing link that ties your entire look together.
This year a big trend is still the topknot and braids. So why not combine the two styles?
If a top hairstyle isn’t your thing than a half up hair down style might be.
This small pony tail hairstyle is super cute and achieved with a wand, if braids aren’t your thing. Very simple for a stylist to achieve. I will say we did add a pack of hair extensions to achieve these longer hair styles.
This style features more of a bump than a small pony tail at the top. I love this hairstyle for weddings too. The pony tail style is more trendy and funky for prom and homecoming hair.
Maybe you love braids but still want to show off the length of your hair. Try a simple fishtail braid down the back of your half-up style.
If your dress speaks volumes than a beach waves style is something to not distract from your dress.
If you just hate your hair down, don’t own extensions, and want your hair up/out of your face– check out these updos trending huge in 2016.
Maybe skip the extensions and the braids– go for down and bouncy curls!
